Stratagem team participated in EuReComp Horizon Europe project’s Kick off meeting which took place in hybrid mode, at the premises of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Greece and online, on April 27th, 2022.

EuReComp aims to provide sustainable methods towards recycling and reuse of composite materials, coming from components used in various industries, such as aeronautics and wind energy.

The project coordinator of EuReComp, Prof. Costas Charitidis along with the Project Officer Dr. George Kotsikos hosted the meeting for the 20 consortium partners from 9 European countries at the facilities of the National Technical University of Athens.

During the fruitful meeting all the project partners presented their organizations and their role in the project. Additionally, the Work Package leaders presented their work packages, as well as their work plans and strategy for the following 6 months, in order to have a successful kick start of the project. Moreover, productive discussions took place among the EuReComp project partners, in order to align their work and aim over the next period.

Stratagem team will actively contribute in EuReComp project by leading Tasks which deal with the Market Analysis, Business Cases identification, Life Long Learning, Business Planning, and Exploitation of the EuReComp project results. Moreover, STRATAGEM will support EASN (XXXX) and will collaborate with all partners, in the joint efforts for the optimum Dissemination and Communication of EuReComp and the outreach of the project’s results to the whole European and International Community.

After the meeting, the partners who attended physically had the chance to visit Athens’ historical center and have a tour in the monumental streets and picturesque places under Acropolis.

All partners left the meeting full of excitement and motivation to initiate the activities of EureComp project, aiming at its successful implementation and we are looking forward to collaborating with all these accredited partners from all over Europe.
