The 2nd EuReComp Open Workshop 2024, which took place on April 24th at the AIMEN Technology Centre in Vigo, Spain, was a significant event in the field of composite recycling. This workshop, focused on exploring various aspects of composite recycling and its applications in sectors such as aeronautics, provided a platform for industry leaders, researchers, and enthusiasts to exchange ideas and foster collaborations.
A highlight of the workshop was the tour of AIMEN Centro Tecnológico’s cutting-edge laboratories and facilities, where participants had the opportunity to observe first-hand the innovative methods and technologies shaping the industry’s landscape.
Representing Stratagem at the workshop were Thomas Parissis and Maria Zafeiropoulou. Thomas Parissis, in particular, had the privilege of moderating the first roundtable discussion of the workshop, which centred on “Research Frontiers and Industrial Synergies”. Their participation underscored Stratagem’s commitment to driving innovation and sustainability in composite recycling.
