The GroundWork project officially kicked off in Cyprus on 22–23 October, bringing together 24 partners from 13 countries to launch an ambitious initiative that will transform the European livestock sector over the next five years.
GroundWork aims to promote regenerative agricultural practices, improve soil health, and enhance ecosystem resilience, working closely with farmers across Europe to create sustainable and climate-resilient farming systems.
At the heart of the project is the development of Regenerative Living Labs, which will focus on improving soil ecosystem functions by adapting agricultural land use in combination with livestock management.
STRATAGEM Energy Ltd is proud to participate in GroundWork, contributing its expertise in sustainability and policy development. The company will lead Task 4.8: Environmental, Social & Financial Impact Assessment and Task 7.8: Policy Recommendations.
