Last week, January 28th, Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR) welcomed all SMILE CITY consortium members to Rome for our annual project meeting. Partners came together to review progress made during the first year of SMILE CITY implementation and share results on innovative recycled materials and sustainable mobility solutions, and shape the next steps for the Urban Living Labs. STRATAGEM participated presented the progress made in the exploitation activities and performed an Exploitation Workshop to introduce and guide the consortium members through the exploitation process in SMILE CITY project.

On January 29th, STRATAGEM participated in the Parallel Sessions of the second day of the project meeting:

Session 2. The project communication and dissemination (WP8) and

Session 3. Environmental impact questionnaires. This session aimed to support the generation of effective and impactful results in the sustainability assessments of the SMILE CITY project. STRATAGEM, responsible for the Life Cycle Costing assessment, presented the methodological approach and guided project partners through the tools designed to gather reliable economic data, highlighting best practices to ensure a consistent economic evaluation across the project.

From hands-on technical sessions to forward-looking planning discussions, the meeting strengthened collaboration across the consortium and helped set a clear, shared direction for year two of the project.
