We are pleased to share the success of PestNu project’s final workshop in Cyprus, which took place at SEDIGEP Sotiras facilities, on 18 July, 2024 and was organized by STRATAGEM. The event marked a significant milestone, showcasing the project’s achievements and advancements.
During the workshop presentations on all the technologies developed throughout the PestNu project were featured, highlighting their effectiveness and results. A significant moment of the event was the live demonstration of the innovative AI robotic trap, showcasing its functionality in capturing insects such as Tuta Absoluta, black aphids and white flies.
Participants had the chance to engage with the latest advancements in pest management technology. The workshop fostered insightful discussions among attendees and the consortium members, about the prevention of the incect of Tuta Absoluta, which is a hot topic this period in Cyprus.
The workshop attracted more than 45 professionals from the field and the public authorities including farmers, agronomists, agriculture associations representatives, journalists, and representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of Cyprus and the Regional Agriculture Authorities.
