Stratagem Ltd and Limassol Tourism Board implements the action “Safe Routes to School” within the framework of the co-funded project “Civitas Destinations”, where Primary schools from Limassol have been involved.
On 15/02/2019, workshops have been held at the Primary School of St. Nicholas. Students from 4th and 5th grades participated in the workshops and discussed about safety on the way to school.
Within the framework of the workshops, students had the opportunity to use zebra crossings and practice how to cross a street. Also, students discussed issues related to carpooling and safety within the car. Additionally, we discussed the benefits of using sustainable modes of transportation. Overall students were willing to participate in all activities and motivated to express their thoughts.
