The Europe’s principal annual event which concerns all those involved in putting the SUMP concept into practice, has been held in the capital of Cyprus – Nicosia on 14th – 15th May 2018. This event serves as a forum for policy makers and academics throughout Europe to network, debate main issues and exchange ideas regarding sustainable urban mobility planning. The subject of this 5th European Conference is about multimodality, with a focus on the integration of transport modes and combined mobility solutions for passengers and freight in cities and regions.
Limassol Municipality and Stratagem Energy Ltd have participated in the 5th EU Conference, where they both presented one of their projects. Limassol Municipality presented their SUMPORT project and discussed about Port Cities in the Mediterranean region, while Stratagem Energy Ltd presented CIVITAS DESTINATIONS project and discussed about the Urban Freight Logistic Action Plan of Limassol.
Following the 5th EU Conference, Limassol Municipality and Stratagem Energy Ltd were hosting their partners from Europe for their 4th CIVITAS PROSPERITY Meeting on 16th – 18th May 2018. During the 4th PROSPERITY Meeting several workshops and training sessions have been held among our partners from Europe. It was a great pleasure hosting all of our partners in Limassol!
