STRATAGEM participated physically in the 36M technical meeting of Dig_IT Horizon2020 project in Madrid, Spain at the 26th & 27th of April 2023. The School of Mining Engineering of Madrid (ETSIME-UPM), the second oldest mining School in the world, hosted our meeting.
The aim of this technical meeting was to discuss about the progress of the last period of the project’s running, the planned activities and of course to get ready for our forthcoming Review meeting. During this meeting, the consortium had also the chance to follow the IPR seminar. Our consortium had also the chance to visit the museum of the School of Mining Engineering and get a tour to the facilities. The building was constructed in 18th Century and designed by Ricardo Velázquez Bosco. Most importantly, it was declared as a Cultural Heritage Building in 1985.
As already explained, in Dig_IT project, STRATAGEM is leading the Academy, Workplace and Society Outreach work package and the task related to the Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment of the IIoTp and mines, and therefore STRATAGEM presented the progress and the future steps of the associated work.
We would like to thank SYSTRA Subterra, our Project’s Technical Manager for the organization and coordination of such a successful meeting and for the hospitality in Madrid. It has been a great pleasure for us to meet all the partners in person for one more time and have such interesting and fruitful discussions about Dig_IT project.
