DIAMETER project has officially kicked off with a two-day productive and energizing hybrid event on 26 & 27 of November 2024, in Sabanci University in Istanbul, Turkey. The event brought together experts from 18 partners representing 11 countries across 4 continents.
DIAMETER aims to facilitate the implementation of a circular economy within the metal manufacturing sector through the development of hybrid manufacturing systems based on additive manufacturing. DIAMETER will contribute to reducing the manufacturing sector’s carbon footprint, enhancing recycling, developing a greener Industry 4.0 and promoting local production.
STRATAGEM role in the project involves the lead of Task 2.2 Environmental impact analysis framework and Task 2.3 Economic feasibility evaluation protocol. STRATAGEM with his expertise in sustainability will conduct the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Life Cycle Cost (LCC) Analysis.
