On 29th of June 2018 Stratagem Energy Ltd has organized the 1st Workshop of Exchange of Experience and 2nd Task Force Meeting in Limassol. During the events, people from higher level government bodies, local authorities and stakeholders have participated, who have the power for the development and the implementation of the SUMP to the particular city.
The aim of the workshop is to provide a better appreciation of the challenges that cities face in developing SUMPs in Cyprus, and allow a constructive dialogue between the regional/national level and the city level in a country specific way. The workshop acts in part as awareness raising for less developed SUMP cities in Cyprus.
During the Task Force meeting we had the opportunity to have a discussion regarding the Limassol SUMP, its development, ambitions, priorities, as well as the challenges and difficulties we face during its implementation and how we can cope with this issue.
